iPad Integration in the Classroom

In my white paper I propose that secondary schools integrate iPads into their classrooms. The Speak Up report provided information from students on their views and hopes for technology use in the classroom, which supported my reasoning for iPad integration. I provide several options for schools to help them lesson the financial burden of purchasing a large number of iPads.

I also recommend several applications for use on the iPad in the classroom to assist with organization of course materials and individualization of classroom teaching including iTunes U and Khan Academy. These applications plus many more would help to enhance learning and engage students in the classroom. In order to gain the most benefits for students and teachers, EdTechTeacher provides training and resources to schools integrating technology in their classrooms.  In my white paper, I make recommendations based on my research for how and why schools should integrate the use of iPads in classrooms.
